I guess it’s unanimous: Everyone thinks Full House 2 will never be the same if Jeong JiHoon and Song HyeKyo are not going to be cast as the lead stars.
Now here’s the bigger question: Honestly, would you want to see JiHoon and HyeKyo’s onscreen reunion to be on Full House again?
If you ask me… and don’t throw stones at me for saying this, please… my answer is NO.
Why?
Because these two deserve a much better project. Preferably something which will not require them to fight in 15 out of 16 episodes and will include some - nay, A LOT of -steamy love scenes.
Seriously… (what am I saying, I AM serious in the above paragraph
) it’s for these reasons:
- I am not a firm believer in sequels. While there are a few exceptions, usually the sequel would suffer in comparison with the original one, especially if the original is highly successful. In the first place, it was not mentioned whether FH Season 2 would still be about Lee Young Jae and Han Ji Eun (although it would be weird if it’s not), which probably explains why the producer said they are still going to do a casting call by last Q of 2007. If the plot is a continuation of Season 1, it won’t make sense to look for other actors to cast. As of yet, it sounds like nothing but a cash cow to me (meaning, they are just cashing in on the success of FH, albeit a bit late, IMHO), ergo, I don’t want JiHoon and HyeKyo to be a part of it. Again, they deserve something better.
- I think JiHoon and HyeKyo have already ‘evolved’ into a higher level as actors, and another light comedy would be like a step back for them. I honestly would like to see them together on something more challenging, acting-wise.
- While it’s true that doing another round of Full House would be the safest thing to do if they want to ‘revive’ their tandem, I don’t want them to be typecasted in this drama. They need to move on and grow in their careers. Anyway, I think the BiKyo onscreen reunion would still be highly successful whatever project they do. Not necessarily on a Full House sequel.
- Full House is already a classic and it would be best to just keep the memory of this drama intact, as is.
Anyway, they have my full support in whatever project they choose to do, both individually and together.

Totally random and OT: I have a new forum pet peeve. Actually, this does not just apply in forums but in blogs, as well.
I’m just wondering, what is up with this weird ‘obsession’ to amass as many posts as possible in forums and blogs? Why, is there a price for being the top poster?
This obsession oftentimes leads to nonsense and borderline spam comments which do not contribute to the discussion at all. Some would just literally ‘copy-paste’ a previous comment and just re-phrase to make it appear ‘original’, but it’s really nothing but waste of server space.
And then when the forum or blog crashes, the forumers would be like,
!!! Oh please. FYI, every post is a burden on a web server. So do your part in helping keep these sites alive and make sure every post counts.

AgentP : My humble apologies, didn’t mean to offend you. In future I shall be more careful and think 20x before penning my thoughts. Sometimes, ppl like me do get carried away when they get excited over somebody whom we adore like BiKyo.
am also excited about that idea that there will be Full House 2 even my mother…But it’s better they must do another drama..
I like your point no. 4
