KBS 인기드라마였던 풀하우스 의 시즌2가 본격 제작되고 있다.
김종학프로덕션의 박창식 이사는 30일 풀하우스 시즌2를 만들기 위해 조정화 작가가 1년째 작업중이며 현재 대본은 3회까지 나와있다. 해외 로케이션도 고려하고 있다 고 밝혔다.
대본 작업과 함께 올 하반기에는 주연배우들의 캐스팅에 나서고 촬영과 방송은 내년에 이뤄진다. 감독은 미정이다.
박 이사는 2004년 드라마 풀하우스 가 시청자에게 많은 사랑을 받았고 중국권과 동남아권에서는 자체 제작하겠다는 방송사가 나올 정도로 반응이 좋았다 면서 풀하우스 의 시즌2를 잘 만들면 국내는 물론 아시아에서도 충분히 흥행할 가능성이 높다 고 말했다. 1편 주인공이었던 비와 송혜교가 캐스팅될지는 미지수다.
2004년 9월 종영한 KBS 드라마 풀하우스 는 젊은이들의 현대식 사랑이야기를 그린 원수연 작가의 순정만화가 원작으로 비(영재)와 송혜교(지은)가 연기해 너무나 이쁜 커플로 인정받았다.

Based on Babelfish translation, it seems pre-production will start by the end of this year, and filming will commence at the beginning of next year. I just hope JiHoon and HyeKyo would still be heading the cast. Full House will never be the same if another pair will play Lee Young Jae and Han Ji Eun.

30.07.07 ‘Full House’ Season 2 is going to be produced
Season 2 of popular KBS drama ‘Full House’ is in the process of full-scale production.
Park Chang Shik of Kim Jong Hak Production stated on the 30th, “To make season 2 of ‘Full House’, writer Jo Jong Hwa is already in a full year’s work and at present has successfully completed the script until the 3rd episode. We are also considering oversea locations.”
The script and the casting of the main characters will be approached at this latter half of the year and the shooting and broadcasting of the show will happen next year. The director is as yet undecided.
Mr. Park said “The ‘Full House’ drama in 2004 received great love from many viewers and it was so successful as to receive offers from Chinese and South-eastern Asian countries to broadcast it on their television networks.” and “If ‘Full House’ season 2 is just produced well then there is a high possibility that there will be great success not only in Korea but in Asia.” It is yet unknown whether Rain and Song Hae Kyo, the main characters in the first season of this drama will be cast.
The KBS drama ‘Full House’ that aired in 2004 in August was a modern love story based on a sweet comic story and acted out by Rain (Young Jae) with Song Hae Kyo (Ji Eun) who were received as an extremely beautiful couple.

that’s true, it’ll never gonna be the same if they will cast diff actors. No one can ever replace the original YoungJae and Han Jeun.
By the way, those who have watched a lot of Kdramas, is there a history where they do not cast the original actors when they create part 2?
FH is so special to Rain and Kyo’s heart, I hope they won’t give it away

All or none, for me, as to the casting. Much as I want to see JiHoon and Kyo together, I’d prefer another plot, and leave Full House at its momentum….
Director Pyo Min Soo was the producer and director of FH, and has excellent relationship with the entire FH staff, why can’t he continue the work, for FH Part II ?

Pre: Actually, I don’t remember if there’s any K-drama (I’m referring to mini-series) that had a Season 2. Goong-S is not exactly a continuation of Goong/Princess Hours, and so is Korea Secret Agent (said to be Super Rookie Season 2). I think FH would make history if ever they continue the story of LYJ-HJE, with the same actors reprising their roles.
if it’s not the same cast then they should use another name not fullhouse 2. Full house is belong to bikyo. they actually have the full house team so i think KBS should either use the same team or make another title.
OMG! At first I was sooooo deliriously happy when I found this news but then I am getting worried whether they will cast JiHoon & HyeGyo again …. and then I am also getting worried whether the storyline can live up to the original FH. Why do I have to be such a worry-tard ~X( Anyway I am joining in the

Now wait a sec… we should put things in a proper perspective here.
True. Full House will never be the same without JiHoon, HyeKyo and PD Pyo.
But if the production team ended up with a different cast and PD… then so be it. We can’t say, “better not use the name ‘Full House’ because this name belongs to JiHoon, HyeKyo, etc” because honestly? It doesn’t belong to them. We just identify the drama with them. The title ‘Full House’ belongs to the creators of the manhwa and to KBS, so they have all the right in the world to use it.
However, the question of whether they will still be successful if they use the same title on a different storyline and cast is definitely doubtful.
KBS should be prepared to expect that this sequel will never be as successful as the first one IF someone else will star on it. If they are just cashing in on the success of the original drama and have no intentions of bringing back the original cast, then I think it would be better if they’d just save their money and move on to another project.
Call me pessimistic or a party pooper, but I really have a feeling that Full House 2 will not have JiHoon and HyeKyo on it. Just a hunch. Hopefully, I am wrong this time.
Agent P …. I am with you, in every word. KBS will be in financial disaster if the casting is different, and if the storyline ain’t strong enough. Full House has achieved this success, because of the on-screen chemistry of BiKyo. We all fell in love with them. Plus, if Bi-Kyo are in it, they will be typed-cast as FH couple. That’s gloom for their individual careers. People will always compare.
Even with “all-or-none” law, I am still very pessimistic. JiHoon and Kyo have moved higher in their acting caliber. I doubt if they want to “go back”.
Safer for KBS to create another plot, another title, and cast Bi-KYo.
That’s sure money in the bank. It will make us all very happy.
Better yet, for financial gain and image control, under his own company, JiHoon and Kyo can search for the right script/storyline, and finance a project together.
Definitely, I am for another BiKyo project (yes-yes-yes…!!), but different title, different plot.

I just love seeing the Bikyo tandem and this news completely shocked me as soon as i loaded up the main page! But i’m not going to go insane just yet, i want to see who the cast is and what the plot will about.
it definitely feels good to know there will be FH2 but if they put a different cast, it will not be as successful as the 1st just like what happened to Goong (Princess Hours) which was more successful than Prince Hours/Goong2.
as much as i want to watch fullhouse again, for me it will never be the same if it is not played by rain and song hye kyo, coz if i watch it and its not them playing the characters i loved, i’ll end imagining and hoping they should be the one playing those roles..^__^
i also send my suggestion too. but i also have the same thinking as pau and dreamspinner. Bikyo is at a diferrent status now so i doubted that they will accept the role. well i just join u guys to

why was the Changsha promotion done for free? it was like their 1st hint in the most discreet manner to maintain the momentum of it’s popularity. SHK dreams of doing a drama next year and what a timely schedule, all these must be on the cards all these months of planning. i have confidence that JJH/SHK will spare time to make another success for the sake of their fans in asia. the drama begins filming next year, both JiHoon and SHK have not committed anything yet and they did mention in recent interviews that they maybe in another drama collaboration. both of them need to increase their popularity further and there is no other way except through this drama, which was the root to JiHoon’s success. he needs it badly now due to the failure of his concert in USA. after completion of this drama together, they will be much closer to declare their love openly to all their fans.
my prediction hopefully will turn into reality
Oh, did they actually say “…maybe another drama collaboration”? Did I actually missed this interview? I thought his previous Changsa promo interview says “if there is a chance he hope to work with Kyo again in another project coz he feels she’s the actress he’s worked best with so far”. Somehow part of me is telling it’s just not easy to see another collaboration of Bi-Kyo and yet another is hoping and praying hard for a miracle to happen.. :wink:
An entirely new different project will definitely work better rather than a sequel with a different cast or just one in.. 
If they can not do a FH2, how about another plot, another title… “My Teacher and I”, a BiKyo ComeBack….
Scenario…. a Drama School. Characters…. Kyo, the teacher. Hair brushed to a bun, with thick eyeglasses, conservative clothing. Submerged to her work; dedicated to guiding students to search for their goals. She was an upcoming multi-talented actress, hiding from a painful broken relationship. She chose to be a teacher, to heal her wounds. JiHoon, the student…. rebellious, no goal, from a rich family. With some cameo roles, from Hollywood figures, as guest speakers in this Drama School. Put Cha Tae Hyun as Bi’s buddy, another student. The middle plot will be fun. As the teacher’s wounds heal, she started showing her multi-talents. To the surprise of her class, they found their teacher was invited to China for exhibition of her talent in figure skating. Toward the end, JJH found out from a class meeting with MJ that his passion is actually in dancing and singing. So he concentrated on this new-found talent. At the end, JJH puts a concert out, and invited his teacher Kyo to dance on the stage with him.
Wow. How cool would that be! The Changsha event may have been put on for more reasons than we might have originally thought. I will cross my fingers for BiKyo in another Full House!!! I am trying to contain my excitement but just the thought of it makes me smile.
As you can see, I’m not into FH2, or JiHoon and Kyo to be type-casted as Full House couple. I think Bi and Kyo are loaded with talents. They have absolute skills to portray many roles. If this is going to be a BiKyo ComeBack, let them show the audience a blast. Something different. Something that has a long shelf-life…. a small screen drama.
I’m sure Bi & SHK would love to work together again, but it’s just that their time schedule most likely would just not fit..
