It’s one of those times when I know I have lots to do, but I don’t feel like doing ‘em.Â
I got home 10am this morning and slept the entire day (just woke up in time for a scheduled online conference among CPH admins), so basically, I had nothing done for today. I spent the entire night with my college friends Ann and Shirley, the latter having migrated to New Zealand in February but surprised us - me, especially - when she suddenly went back home two weeks ago. I got a weird SMS from her on my birthday, greeting me and asking where and when shall I have my birthday blow-out for her and Ann. I was already curious that she used a local number on her SMS, but thought maybe she just asked her sister who’s here in the Philippines to text me. So I replied, “go home here in PH and I will treat you to dinner”. She replied with, “I AM home”. Â
Apparently, she had to rush home because her father has been critically ill. It was unfortunate that she had to go home under tragic circumstances, but I was so happy to see her on my birthday nonetheless. It’s such a wonderfully unexpected birthday gift. Unfortunately, two days after my birthday, her father passed away.
She’s bound to go back to New Zealand on Wednesday, so her family invited Ann and us for dinner yesterday. Of course, we wholeheartedly accepted the invitation no matter how busy we both are, as we absolutely love her mom’s cooking and we never pass on any invitation to pig out on their house.

We spent the entire night just chattering away with her mom and sisters, seeking Ann for “advice” on their future and whatnot. We don’t know if we will ever see Shirley anytime in the near future (of course, unless Ann and I decide to go to New Zealand instead). I certainly would miss her… again.
So anyway, back to my main topic, which is, laziness.
Let’s see… I have the following tasks waiting to be done:
1. Write an extensive profile and bio of Rain for the CPH website - this turned out to be a challenge. Based on my research, there are a number of versions of Rain’s biography circulating on the ‘net. While the basic info is the same, the details are different and at times, questionable. Take this snippet from Wikipedia, for example:

I honestly don’t remember if Bi had a song titled “Inside of You” on the 4th album (or on any of his albums, for that matter), and if it was released as a single. Or maybe I’m really just a Rain-idiot and I don’t really know the titles of his songs contrary to what I make it appear on the internet (that I know everything as far as Rain is concerned).
The even bigger challenge is, which parts of his bio should I edit out.
I am sometimes tempted to throw in some info in there, but Rizza will kill me if I do, so…
2. Figure out how to extract clips from Hiroko’s Bangkok concert fancam - this becomes even more complicated due to the fact that neither one of my two DVD drives can read her disc.Â
3. Copy a gazillion X-Man episodes for me and a bunch of friends - I can do this anytime I want, actually, but I’m in lazy mode nowadays, so…
4. Catch up on my Drama series viewing - I’m still stuck on Episode 4 of What’s Up Fox? and I still have several DVDs waiting to be touched.
5. Convert my dad’s videos from his Cebu trip from Mini-DV to DVD - Again, this is something I could do on the background while doing other stuff with my computer, but laziness is something I couldn’t shake off these days.
6. Write something worth reading on this blog - Of course, since my definition of “worth-reading” is different from my readers’ definition, I could write just about anything and my readers could either care or not. The way I see it, nowadays, most of them don’t. Well, not my fault that a certain Korean couple are currently in hiding…
Speaking of whom: Let me be in my over-analyzing AgentP mode and comment on something recently posted at the forums. This is a snippet from an old interview with JiHoon (June 2005), where he said:
As long as he loves that girl, he is willing to suffer physical pain and tatoo her name into his body. A very romantic man. Yesterday, in Rain’s interview with the newspaper concerning when he falls in love with a girl, Rain said affectionately, “I will tatoo her name on my body or a pair of wings on my back. But this her will definately be my future wife’s name.”
Translation on certain parts are a bitÂ
, but we can get the gist of the statement. I’m not sure if I understood the “pair of wings” part, though.
Since we don’t see tattoos on any visible part of his body, then we can say he hasn’t fallen in love with anyone enough to permanently ink her name on his body (unless he does have a tattoo hidden somewhere only a priveleged few can see
). But since the sentence construction is a bit weird and we’re not sure if he meant placing a tattoo of a pair of wings on his back or simply putting a pair of wings on his back, period… does the fact that he wore wings on his 4th album cover and the I’m Coming MV means he has put what he said in this interview into action?
I don’t know why I’m wasting blog space on this since said interview is two years old and JiHoon is quite known to change statements about his lovelife at the blink of an eye. :wacky:  I guess I really have run out of interesting stuff to blog about, huh.

Given JiHoon’s history of ever-changing comments relating to his girlfriend, I will take everything with a tongue in cheeks. Plus, unless Song Hye Kyo is part of it, I care the less.
There is no turning point in tattooe. When that time comes, please PM me. Until JiHoon and his GF walk down the aisle, every news is up for grab.
i still wish Song is his GF…
Paau, whhich part in NZ is Shirley residing? I’m in christchurch (S.Island).
SHK seems to be wearing the same ring on her right hand at the Celine debut of her handbag as she was in New York. Hope it means something!
dinah: She’s also staying in Christ Church, but I don’t know exactly where.

That’s a long entry for someone in a lazy mode. Probably just tired over there and need time to get some rest instead.
Cool little flag feature!
