This particular week in September is like Hell Week for me. Well, Hell 11 Days, to be exact. Because it’s the ‘first anniversary’ of that fateful Manila event that made me take a leave from work for 10 days, people around my circles are remembering that moment because it was so special for them. It’s special for me, too, though probably for entirely different reasons.
Since I have become Jaded Cloud – a step further from Nimbus Cloud – and I have accepted that I can’t possibly avoid remembering what happened exactly one year ago, I decided to do some reminiscing of my own. It’s definitely not as nice nor as “spazzy” as the others, so if you don’t feel like basking in my negativity, I suggest you avoid me on Twitter or Facebook. There’s such a thing as ‘unfollow’, ‘unfriend’, ‘block’, and ‘hide’, ya know.
PS: Yes, I am aware that there were some pretty good memories squeezed in between the bad ones. But I’m in Jaded Cloud mode, ok?
PPS: As I was trading Tweets with my friends about last year’s events, I am starting to realize that despite the sad/bitter/angry/emotional moments, Rain’s Manila visit last year was a total hoot.
