Sub-title: Food and souvenirs.
Whaddya know, we went all the way to wherever to shop, only to realize that THE place for souvenir shopping was right under our noses.
It turned out, our hostel was only about 15-minutes walk (by Philippine standards) away from Insaedong, where souvenir shops are aplenty. So instead of doing our ‘pasalubong’ shopping at the last minute, we decided to go ahead and splurge.
Food tripping – again.
Tita Sue just love ’em noodles.
Intricate Korean sweets (which are not sweet).
Technicolor corn on a cob.
There was a traditional food fest going on at the plaza. Of course, traditional entertainment goes with traditional food:
Tita Sue sampling the Korean traditional version of Cerelac.
Luxury rice cakes. They all look good, and costs a lot. The taste? Blah.
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…
We went back to the hostel late in the afternoon, where Rizza and I spent the rest of the day making the CloudPh report for submission to JYPE and me updating my blog. Our two unnies, however, went back to Insaedong for more shopping.
