Check out this press release re: Rain’s 4th album showcase:
10,000 buyers of Rain’s album will see him in his showcase
10,000 people who will buy Rain’s album on October 13, the same day of the concert, will be able to watch him in his “World Tour Premiere” concert in the Seoul Jamsil Olympic stadium.
Those who will reserve and buy his album online and in record stores will be able to get tickets to his concert.
In this event, which will precede his world tour concert in December, approximately 40,000 people are invited to come to his concert. The profits in the event will be used as a charity fund and international relief for handicaps.

This is a good promo to boost sales and everything… but I think the public has the right to know that the seats they will be getting shall be BLEACHER SEATS. Coz remember, you have to be either a millionaire or an insane person (or both) to get flat area seats. Unless you’re a Korean Cloud, of course.
But wait… so how are they going to go about this scheme? Do the first 10,000 buyers get tickets, or is it “buy an album, then pray that it comes with a ticket”? Am I going to fight tooth and nail against 9,999 people just to get one lousy bleacher seat? And what about the seats themselves, are the first come, first served? When are we going to know the answers to all these, on the day itself???
For some odd reason, I am so not looking forward to the showcase. I have a feeling I’ll be bitching non-stop the entire night. Oh please let me be wrong this time.
