When things are too good to be true, no matter how much you try to be positive you just can’t help but wonder when will it start to crumble and break down.

I had high hopes for Cloud 7. Finally, our suggestions are (somewhat) being heard and considered. Sometimes they make excuses, but sometimes they do take things into consideration and try to take action if necessary. Things have improved during registration, and at the first fanmeeting there may have been some misunderstandings during the preparation phase (which most of you do not know as it’s contained in the Masters Room) but it all worked out in the end. Japan concert had some ticketing issues, but again, unless you were one of those who bought a ticket you wouldn’t know the extent of it. Actually, I also did not fully understand the issues even if I was constantly updated by my own sources, which I was fortunate to have because the Masters Room is so useless when it comes to that topic. And since I didn’t care as no one from the Philippines is going to Japan, I just ignored all discussions connected to that topic.

But since Japan concert was a success, I’m assuming everything went well and Cloud is still moving at a steady phase. Until… yesterday.

To say that Overseas Clouds are seething mad is an understatement. They are LIVID. :flaming: I’ve never seen complaints this massive and loud at Rain-jihoon.com since… ever.

Heads up for those who didn’t know: Legend of Rainism - Korea is going to be held on October 9-10 and ticket selling started yesterday. Cloud 7 members get exclusive privileges for 1200 seats at the VIP area. But there’s a catch: Only 10% of these seats are allocated to overseas members. The rest are for Korea Cloud.

Imagine that. Over 5,000 Overseas Cloud members will fight for 120 seats.

But wait. Why can’t the Overseas Clouds just wait for the public selling instead of pulling each others’ hair for a slot at the 120? Oh no, there’s an even bigger catch: Interpark, the ticketing agent for this concert, only sells tickets to Koreans. You will need a Korean credit card and ID to buy your ticket. Ergo, if you are an overseas fan who wants to watch this concert, you are basically screwed because there’s no other way you can buy your ticket even if you want to. Unless you know a Korean who would be willing to buy your ticket for you.

Isn’t that lovely?

So in effect, it’s like saying this concert is almost exclusively for Koreans only. Ooookaaaayyy…

Wow, it’s like deja vu. I suddenly have flashbacks of Rainism album release last year when J Tune was practically discouraging overseas fans from buying the album in Korea to help with the sales. What is up with this company, why are they saying ‘no’ to foreigners’ money?!?! :bop:

It’s a good thing that fans who want to see at least one concert from this tour still has Hong Kong as an option, but if this system persists, I’m afraid I’ll end up skipping the Hong Kong leg because I’ve already reached my Rain-related stress quota for the year with that god-awful Macau trip last June. :ayaw:

===

Oh, and by the way… no offense to the Japanese fans, but… all this time I thought that with Cloud 7, there would be no more regional factions and we shall be just One Cloud. Therefore, could somebody please explain to me why is there a rain-jihoon.com Japan site?!?! :kilay:

Ugh, Cloud. I had so much high hopes for you. You didn’t even last half a year. :hopeless:

    Oh wow. Yippee.

So a scolding in store for the staff again? :hihihi: Wish I could be there to see him yell at them.

    Correction to my earlier post:

The 1,000 seats for overseas package are not just for Japan. I wonder how many would still bite?
And yeah, wouldn’t that mean that “fans with tons of money” still rule over “fans who actually cared to register for The Cloud”? :phew: I don’t wanna say that someone in this company is a money-grabbing opportunist, but… there you go.

Winnie: would that count as ‘more suffering’?

  3. sgfanNo Gravatar c-sg says:

They should have tried to arrange package for Korean fans for JP concerts. I wonder what would have happened to J. Tune :hihihi:

  4. angelordevilNo Gravatar c-vn says:

yeah right, hope letter to Bi’s home will have result.
Hope he can read it himself and change his company’s manner

  5. AgentPNo Gravatar c-ph says:

I don’t know, but I think by now he would be wary of reading letters being sent directly to his home address from fans. :phew:

  6. sgfanNo Gravatar c-sg says:

Letter should be in Korean and it should be given to him when he steps out of his house. :hihihi:

I just love it when a ‘catastrophe’ happens to his staff.

  7. wloiNo Gravatar c-unknown says:

Suffering to JT staff ? Does our on blog psyhic say that the staff are included in this month’s theme ? If yes, then the more the merrier…they can share some of the sufferings. :hihihi:

  8. AgentPNo Gravatar c-ph says:

Winnie: Actually, THEY are the ones who should suffer the most. :bop:

Call me crazy but I just want to share something from our psychic’s latest reading. She said:

Many people are thinking why he has kept his silence. It’s because he knows that whatever he says or does will affect other people, as well (his employees, for example).

Ok, Ji Hoon, think about this. Your employees just created another major blunder that is threatening to ruin your career (actually, it has already ruined your career. It has been ruining your career since 2006). A lot of overseas fans have openly expressed that they will withdraw their support. Did your employees ever think of how their money-making schemes will affect your image and reputation? NO. So why sacrifice your own happiness for their benefit? Follow your own instincts! :scholar:

  9. angelordevilNo Gravatar c-vn says:

I just heard that J.Tune has sold the Asia tour’s copyright to tour organization,
    I’m afraid that J.Tune can’t change ticket’s issue :kilay:

  10. AgentPNo Gravatar c-ph says:

angelordevil: The good side of it is that, obviously, J Tune can’t handle a big-scale concert. So it really should be turned over to a company who knows how.

The bad side of it is: does this tour company really knows how to handle it? Or are they another Star M? :nailbite:
And no, J Tune will not re-negotiate re: the ticket issue. At least, that’s how I understood it from the Masters Room post. As usual, excuses, excuses… :nono:

  11. wloiNo Gravatar c-unknown says:

Pau, right, I know the main leads for this Sep’s theme…but just hope that some of those useless people around them can share their burden.

Oh yea, Bi, you cannot just come out and pretending that your staff has done nothing to harm your client relationships…this is much more detrimental than announcing to the world that Hyekyo is yours !

Just take Andy Lau for example, fans are now angry not bec he is married or even have kids…but he has been lying all these 24 years…it’s so unfair to his wife…there is not many woman that can bear being a kept woman for so long.

  12. AgentPNo Gravatar c-ph says:

Winnie: I meant THEY = Rain’s employees.

  13. sgfanNo Gravatar c-sg says:

The Andy Lau thing is ridiculous. The man is almost half a century old! Come on! It’s not like he’s some young idol. :slaphead: [and so what if he is??]. Sure, there are some crazy fans who will slam him and leave but he can afford to lose these few.

  14. angelordevilNo Gravatar c-vn says:

oh it seem has final result
    FanCLub 1,208 (StandingB800,VIP303 204 ,VIP302 204)
    1088 tickets for Korean
    1000 tickets for Japanes
and 12o tikets for all overseas

  15. angelordevilNo Gravatar c-vn says:

ah I means that you buy through Fan club,
beside that overseas can buy through website or package

  16. AgentPNo Gravatar c-ph says:

Am I reading this correctly? His ticket is being auctioned off for JPY20,000 as much as JPY30,500? And it’s a block of seats? Isn’t this like some sort of ticket scalping??

  17. strawberryNo Gravatar c-unknown says:

i just want to say YIPPIE!! :soju: for more hate letters to his house whether he can read them or not :nyenyenye:

  18. AgentPNo Gravatar c-ph says:

Jenny: don’t you sometimes feel that the Cloud staff are intentionally posting in Korean so that the rest of us OMs who don’t understand Korean will not be able to complain? :phew:

  19. strawberryNo Gravatar c-unknown says:

Pau, thats what im thinking. anyway for all complains these days, no update from CM, uh? thats expected though. i admitted, my heart aches reading all the complains from clouds.
if i were in korea maybe i will do something to his office, lol, making some violent actions :rakenrol:
