My Monday is the exact opposite of my Sunday.
I didn’t go to work yesterday because I was having stomach problems. The problem being, I ate too much last Sunday and I did nothing but sit in front of my computer to finish my subbing project and monitor KSW’s wedding. My meals did not digest well. I just went to church yesterday (it’s the feast of our patron saint St. Michael the Archangel), then I was supposed to go to the office afterward but I wasn’t feeling well mainly because I barely got sleep because of my stomach.
So yesterday, I did these:
a. Went to church;
b. Surfed the ‘net;
c. Slept the whole day;
d. Cooked pasta (because my mom asked me to);
e. Ate a lot (again!);
f. Watched The Amazing Race (yawn! ) and Survivor Philippines (dang it, Naak lost again );
g. Now surfing the net + burning some discs + trying to finish my work backlog.
That wasn’t entirely unproductive, if you think about it.
I really find it hilarious when people would criticize Rain’s not-so-good English skills by posting a comment that has bad, and I mean REALLY BAD English grammar. Especially that one comment which literally had me . This person was lecturing Rain about the proper use of verb tenses on the line, “I finally make it”, but if you read his comment not a single verb had the proper tense. OK, granted that he said he only learned that in school, but I think when that lesson came up he really wasn’t listening?
I mean, c’mon, people. If you live in a glass house, you shouldn’t be throwing stones. I myself has issues with Rain’s English (mainly on elocution and being comfortable with speaking the language) but at least I know how to use verb tenses correctly. Well, most of the time.
Great news to all Rain fans in Metro Manila!
We’ve just received word that I’m A Cyborg, But It’s OK is among the featured films at the coming CineManila Film Festival to be held on October 16-29, 2008 at the Gateway Cineplex in Araneta Center, Cubao, QC. We still don’t have the final screening dates and times, but Cloud Philippines is in constant communication with the organizers so we’ll let you know as soon as we get the complete info.
What a great way to celebrate Cloud Philippines’ 2nd Anniversary, I must say.
