No, Team Alembong, not that zoom-in.
This was supposed to be a 1st Monthsary gift for Alden International, but my internet acted up. It took one whole day before the whole thing got uploaded. Also, I got sidelined. A lot.
I was at the Broadway Studios of Eat Bulaga the other week to accompany a family of balikbayans. It was a last-minute thing and I didn’t have time to prep my photography gear. Thankfully, Blackie Lou, that tiny-thing-that-kicks-so-much-ass point-and-shoot with 30x zoom, was on hand with batteries fully charged. I had a grand time zooming in on Alden Richards as I spent the entire Sugod Bahay segment of Juan For All, All For Juan taking super-close up photos of him.
It wasn’t all a ‘zoom-in’ encounter, though. When he went around the studio to take selfies with the live audience, I was able to take a few photos of him with no zoom.
Yep, he was literally right in front of me. He didn’t see me though. Well, why would he? Some friends said I should’ve called him, but with hundreds of other people screaming “Alden! Aldeeeeen!!!!”, do you think he would’ve heard me? Unless we have a secret name code that only the two of us would catch, which we don’t have.
Destiny played a mean trick on me that day. That moment above was the only time he went to my side. For the rest of the show (that he was on Broadway), he was allllll the way to the other side. Are you avoiding me, Alden?
Additional info: this particular episode of Eat Bulaga happened just a couple of days after my blog became (in)famous with AlDub Nation. Not that it means anything…
